Position Summary
As the Labourer you will be directly responsibility for painting pipe, weed trimming, and assisting others in operations.
This is a temporary contract position:
- starting in June 2026 to end of August 2026, extension may be possible
- 40 hours per week
- $18.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely uses painting products to paint pipe to customers’ requirements
- Assisting in machine shop
- Lawn mowing and weed trimming
- May perform other activities such as assisting in inventory
- Participate in clean-up and pre-inspection of equipment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures in relation to both safety and quality
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma
- Age: Must be 18 years old
- Work Experience: 0 years related experience
- Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety boots, eye protection, visible stripes, and other equipment as need with certain tasks)
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to carry and move product and/or supplies in excess of 50lbs
- Physical effort requiring manual dexterity.
