Community Pharmacist (Part-Time)

About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Community Pharmacist to join our independently owned, patient-centered pharmacy. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering safe, effective, and personalized care to our community. You will provide professional advice, manage medications, administer vaccines, and support patients in making informed health decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, clinically confident, and committed to building strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescriptions while ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
- Provide counseling and professional advice on medications, health products, and disease management.
- Conduct medication reviews (MedsChecks), pharmaceutical opinions, Minor Ailments assessments, and other OCP-funded professional services.
- Administer vaccines and injections in accordance with OCP regulations.
- Supervise, train, and support pharmacy assistants and technicians in daily operations.
- Maintain accurate patient profiles, records, and documentation.
- Educate and support patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of medications.
- Foster a positive team environment and contribute to efficient pharmacy operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPhm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Authorization to administer injections and immunizations in Ontario.
- Previous retail/community pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Kroll Paperless software.
- In-depth knowledge of third-party insurance billing and accompanying regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Operating Hours:
- Shifts – 2 to 3 days per week/9 hours per day; weekend rotations
- Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 6:00pm
- Saturday – 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Sundays & Statutory Holidays - CLOSED
