Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food industry management, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, managing restaurant functions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in creating a welcoming atmosphere, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving business growth.
Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor daily operations including serving, bar service, and kitchen activities to maintain high-quality standards
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Coordinate inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to maximize profitability
- Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and supervise team performance to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to efficient restaurant operations
- Support marketing initiatives and special events to increase customer engagement
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for transaction management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff development
- Experience in interviewing potential employees and building effective teams
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including cash handling, food service standards, and hospitality best practices
- Prior hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required; relevant experience in the food industry is essential
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team and deliver outstanding customer service
Pay: $27.20-$30.36 per hour
