Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert haircutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and lifestyle.
- Consult with clients to understand their goals, offering professional recommendations and style guidance.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation and tools in accordance with all health and safety standards.
- Promote additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and boost salon sales.
- Assist with front desk operations such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments as needed.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring client comfort, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout each visit.
- Stay up to date with the latest barbering techniques, styles, and product trends to consistently deliver fresh, modern results.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment by keeping the workspace organized and supporting your colleagues.
Qualifications
- Valid barbering or cosmetology license (as required by Ontario regulations).
- Proven experience in barbering or men’s hair styling with a strong technical foundation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; confident working with a diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe, hygienic environment.
- Ability to upsell services and retail products in a natural, professional manner.
- Front desk or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
