Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste materials. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficient driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy loads. Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers to designated disposal sites
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of waste materials while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of the truck before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, routes, and waste disposal records
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation operations
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to secure or position containers
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy trucks, specifically roll-off or similar large vehicles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic regulations
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy containers when needed
- Commitment to safety standards and company policies
Pay: $22.93-$33.46 per hour
