TW Industrial Group is located in Prince George, British Columbia and works mainly within British Columbia and Alberta. TW Industrial Group is certified to B33.1 & .3 Asme Process Piping Code and CSA W47.1 Certification of Companies for fusion welding of steel structures. This certification enables us to work in a variety of capacities and projects involving structural steel. This includes structural and mechanical fabrications, installations, on projects such as mines, pellet plants, sawmills, pulp mills & green energy plants, bridges, crane booms and steel structures.
Tasks:
- Be able to take instruction, and carry out necessary tasks as may be assigned by the Foreman
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
- Layout, position and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications on assignments
- Tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using electric, gas, arc or other welding equipment
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Be familiar with structural Fabrication forming and various other fabrication processes
- Be able to use technical drawing and various other specs and verbal instructions for planning and accomplishing the goal.
Requirements:
- CWB certification will be considered an asset
- Red Seal will be considered an asset
- Experience cutting and joining metal parts for fabricating or repairing, vehicle equipment, tools and other various articles
- Experience applying tools like mig-welder, plasma cutter, arc welder, chop saw, oxyacetylene torch etc.
