We are seeking a dependable and physically fit General Labourer to join our auto parts warehouse team in North York. The successful candidate will have previous experience handling automotive parts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves continuous lifting, sorting, organizing, and handling auto parts while maintaining accuracy, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle, move, sort, and organize automotive parts and warehouse materials.
- Perform continuous lifting and manual material handling of products ranging from 3 lbs to 50 lbs.
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
- Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing incoming inventory.
- Pick and prepare auto parts for orders and shipments.
- Label, package, and stage products for delivery.
- Maintain proper organization of warehouse areas, racks, and workstations.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Support warehouse team members and supervisors with daily operational tasks.
- Ensure accurate handling of products to prevent damage or errors.
Requirements
- Previous auto parts experience is mandatory.
- Minimum experience working in an automotive parts warehouse or similar environment.
- Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labour experience is an asset.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to handle products of various sizes and weights.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with repetitive tasks.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
