Our Client is looking for a Shipper/Receiver for their Stoney Creek warehouse
Shipping and receiving duties include, but are not limited to, loading freight, confirming the accuracy of documents, and ensuring that orders are being shipped/loaded accurately. Freight is properly stored and accounted for using RF Scanner in the warehouse, and space is efficiently utilized. Proactive in the preparation of staging and planning of freight. picking, packing, QC, Returns, Cycle Counts, cleaning, Shipment processing, and Container destuffing.
Maintaining clean, organized work areas and equipment.
Ensuring safety procedures and checks on equipment are being done and equipment is properly maintained
Communicate/collaborate with supervisor/management of daily workflow
Skills required:
Strong attention to detail, able to lift to 50 Lbs if needed, standing for long periods of time, ability to work in a fast-paced environment is a must, time management, problem-solving, and good communication skills are required, as interacting directly with customers will require good interpersonal/customer service skills. Reliable, consistent attendance is a must for this role.
Must have a valid active Forklift license at minimum counterbalance class and Double deep Walkie class, Dockstocker, and cherry picker class certification with falls arrest certification and experience.
Location: Stoney Creek
Wage: Days: 23.55 plus vacation pay
Warehouse Day Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday shift during busy times.
Must have your Ontario Forklift License.
