Primary Role: The Executive Director (ED) is a key leader in the Memory & Company Management Team. The ED is responsible for providing the overall leadership, management and success of the Oakville location of Memory & Company. The ED is responsible for the financial management, hiring, supervising, training, Support Team relations, communication, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The ED ensures that Members are happy and engaged and sets the overall tone of the business to ensure a quality, customer-based atmosphere. As well the ED is responsible for the sales, local marketing, and networking of the Oakville location to ensure that our Membership base stays strong and ongoing.

Essential Qualifications:
- Post Secondary Degree/Diploma Required (Health Admin, Social Work, Gerontology, or Nursing preferred)
- Knowledge and experience working with people with Alzheimer's and related dementia's
- Thorough understanding of Dementia, and the ability to train others in best practices
- Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision and discipline
- Previous sales/marketing experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of financial management and operating expenses
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, communication, time-management, decision-making and assessment skills
- Thorough understanding of how to manage government regulations to always ensure regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills
- Demonstration of computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze research and implement evident-based practice into Policy and Procedure development and clinical practice.
- Demonstrates excellence in interpersonal, communication, coaching, mentoring and team building that facilitate positive interactions among all members of our team
- Demonstrates commitment to professional development and learning
- Valid Driver's License and full access to a reliable vehicle
- Highly developed conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and critical analysis in stressful, complex and emotional situations
- Possess the ability to introduce and effectively facilitate change
- Possess highly developed analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates understanding and contribution to Member and support team safety
- Proven attendance record

Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the overall financial management of the Oakville Memory & Company location including budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, monthly finance reviews and action plans, reviewing Member service levels, collections, adjusting membership and staffing, managing day to day operational costs, and payroll.
- Driving for results- Member retention, Meeting financial expectations month after month.
- Maintaining the overall vision and purpose of Memory & Company
- Maintaining a strong customer focus
- Monitoring building needs and communicating to the necessary teams for support
- Ensuring excellent conflict management by addressing and resolving issues and concerns in a timely and well thought out manner
- Network with community leaders and industry leaders to get Memory & Company noticed
- Manage the marketing, public relations and sales for Memory & Company to ensure positive brand presence
- Ensure the overall operation of Memory & Company is running effectively and Members are engaged and happy
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training of the Support team at all levels ensuring that scheduling, attendance, conflict resolution and performance management is maintained.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, medication management, and Member assessments are maintained by the leadership team.
- Other tasks as may be assigned as business needs evolve
Pay: $105,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
