Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Thai Massage Specialist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will deliver authentic Thai massage therapies that promote relaxation, relieve tension, and enhance overall well-being for our clients. Your expertise in traditional massage techniques combined with excellent customer service skills will create a calming and rejuvenating experience for every guest. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge of Thai massage while contributing to a holistic health environment.
We also provide basic training.
Duties
- Perform authentic Thai massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, utilizing techniques such as stretching, acupressure, and gentle manipulation.
- Assess clients’ physical condition and discuss their wellness goals to recommend appropriate massage therapies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment area in accordance with hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their preferences and provide post-treatment advice for continued wellness.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client feedback to ensure personalized care.
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Thai massage therapist or similar role, with certification in traditional Thai massage techniques.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a relaxing and positive environment for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatment procedures and address client concerns.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a fast-paced wellness setting.
- Certification from a recognized Thai massage training program is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for promoting health, relaxation, and holistic well-being through traditional massage practices.
