Apeetogosan (Métis) Development Inc. (AMDI) is seeking a Commercial Loans Officer to support Métis entrepreneurs across Alberta. In this role, you’ll evaluate and manage loan applications, work directly with clients, and help grow Métis‑owned businesses through responsible lending.
What you’ll do:
- Assess and process commercial loan applications
- Analyze financial information and repayment plans
- Communicate lending decisions and support clients throughout the process
- Maintain accurate loan and client records, including creating documents, annual file reviews and client site visits
- Support special loan initiatives
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Loans or Credit Officer
- Strong financial analysis and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Métis culture or community involvement is an asset
