We have a Summer Jobs Grant from Government of Canada
Our Summer hire will attend London location (Fanshawe Yacht Club) a minimum of approximately 2 days per week to assist clients, volunteers and instructors as required to implement our kayaking program. This portion of the job is physically challenging. Must be willing to learn all aspects of the job including kayaking, site setup, ensure relevant statistical information is collected and all documents are signed and filed, help with scheduling and emailing clients and volunteers.
Marketing duties include documenting and creating/posting social media material, attending marketing and fundraising committee meetings. Help develop marketing plans to recruit instructors, clients, site volunteers and corporate sponsors. This part of the role can be done remotely from your home/office.
Contract length: 9 weeks, 30 hours a week, start date after June 9/26
Pay: $17.60 per hour total $5691
- Ages 15 to 30 inclusive
- Must be Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have Refugee Protection

- Flexible Monday to Friday and weekends as required

- London,ON, Fanshawe Yacht club site within Fanshawe Conservation Area
- Work from home in London area
- Attend London Area businesses for fundraising
