We are hiring a Midnight Dispatcher for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Brampton, ON within a high-volume transportation and distribution environment. The Transportation Dispatch Team plays a key role in coordinating daily freight movement, supporting drivers, communicating with carriers and distribution teams, and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers and equipment to meet daily transportation and delivery requirements.
- Monitor routes, shipment status, delivery timelines, and route performance to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, warehouse teams, distribution centres, and internal stakeholders to support smooth operations.
- Update dispatch software and transportation management systems with accurate load, route, and driver information.
- Troubleshoot delays, equipment concerns, service exceptions, and operational issues to minimize delivery impacts.
- Support safety, regulatory, and company policy compliance while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $24.00 per hour.

- Overnight schedule options:
- Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Training will be completed on the day shift for approximately 2 to 3 weeks before moving to the assigned overnight shift.
