We are seeking an experienced and motivated Facility Supervisor to lead our team of power engineers in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our power systems. The ideal candidate will hold a 4rd Class Power Engineer certification, have exposure to refrigeration systems, and demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervision, with the ability to oversee daily operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise, mentor, and lead a maintenance team. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Assign tasks, prioritize workloads, and ensure efficient operation of the building and related equipment.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Technical Oversight
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building.
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify system integrity and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
Operational Management
- Monitor and optimize system performance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Respond to emergencies, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation for regulatory and internal purposes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certification
- 4th Class Power Engineer certification.
- Exposure to refrigeration systems.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a 4rd class Power Engineer, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with boilers, pressure vessels, power generation systems, and refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards, regulatory compliance, and emergency response procedures.
