Overview
We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to grow a case load of active patients in a growing community. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with medical professionals to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services tailored to individual patient needs.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and mobility limitations
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical histories
- Assist patients in improving movement, strength, and coordination through therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management, and home exercise programs
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment in compliance with healthcare standards
Requirements
- Valid license or registration as a Physiotherapist on PEI
- Graduate from a recognized physiotherapy program
- MSK private practice an asset
- Bilingual French and English an asset
