Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial and commercial spaces, including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures using heavy-duty cleaning equipment and supplies
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks such as carpet extraction, floor stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and reporting larger issues to management
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
- Keep cleaning supplies organized and inventory levels maintained
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, particularly in commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and basic repair skills
- Ability to operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
