## Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Company Driver to join our team for local work. As a key member of our transportation division, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods within the local area. Your dedication to safety, customer service, and professionalism will help us maintain our high standards and strong reputation. The ideal candidate will have minimum 1.5 years experience in commercial driving and operating heavy equipment.
## Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to transport goods within the Lower Mainland area.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on schedule and in accordance with customer requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts, mileage logs, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
## Skills
- Valid Class 1 BC driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience as a Class 1 driver, preferably in local delivery.
- Strong knowledge of local truck routes and traffic patterns.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Willing to start shifts from Vancouver, Langley and South surrey as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $5,000.00-$7,000.00 per month
