Our client is a Canadian company specializing in safe and environmentally friendly packaging materials who are looking to hire a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounting & Procurement Coordinator to support our finance and procurement functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a 6-month contract
The Accounting & Procurement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations while assisting with purchasing and procurement activities.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.

Process invoices, payments, and collections while maintaining accurate financial records.

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.

Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.

Maintain organized documentation and ensure data accuracy across accounting records.

Assist with general bookkeeping and administrative accounting functions.

Purchasing & Procurement

Assist with inventory-related transactions and procurement documentation.

Maintain vendor records and support supplier relationship management.
Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience.

Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks.

Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end processes.

Experience working in a fast-paced business environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
