Versante Hotel is a luxury boutique property, seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming experience. This role involves managing front desk operations, assisting guests with inquiries, and supporting overall hotel functions to maintain high standards of hospitality.
Front Desk team members serve as ambassadors of the hotel, as well as the vibrant community of Richmond and the greater Vancouver area. They are responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable first impression, while providing knowledgeable recommendations on local attractions, dining, transportation, and cultural experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional guest services with every interaction.
- Friendly guest check-in and check-out experiences, ensuring accuracy in reservations, billing and payment processing
- Serve as ambassadors of the hotel, as well as the vibrant community of Richmond and the Greater Vancouver area
- Creating a welcoming and memorable first impression, while providing knowledgeable recommendations on local attractions, dining, transportation, and city-wide events
- Manage room assignments, electronic key coding, and guest welcome procedures, providing clear directions and hotel information
- Promote hotel services and packages
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly with a focus on customer satisfaction and service recovery
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately, including balancing and reconciliation.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members via phone, email, and in person.
- Complete daily operational checklists to ensure smooth front desk operations.

- Open availability. No restrictions. Varied shifts include mornings, afternoons and evening, weekdays, weekends and holidays. Hours may vary based on business requirements.
Pay: $28.00 per hour
