Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide high-quality support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and promote well-being for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and safety
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to supervising staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls or injuries
- Support dementia care by implementing personalized routines and engaging residents in activities
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks
- Certification or training in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, patient, respectful, and committed to providing quality care
