CanWest’s Leduc location is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Concrete Demolition Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete demolition, leadership, customer service, and project coordination, while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude on the job site.
Responsibilities & Duties
- ***Must be willing to complete field training on saws before moving into estimation.
- Measure and mark cutting lines prior to cutting operations
- Operate and maintain various types of concrete cutting equipment and saws
- Work closely with dispatchers and project managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned equipment and work units
- Follow all company safety policies and safe operating procedures at all times
- Supervise and lead general labourers to complete assigned tasks safely and effectively
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management
- Once trained in the field, assist with Bids, Tenders, Estimates, Change Orders, Billing, and General Project Managment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Experience towing trailers is considered an asset
- Self-motivated, dependable, and professional attitude
- Previous experience with concrete cutting equipment, site measurements, and construction materials preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is considered an asset
- Previous experience working with sales teams and project management is an asset
- Basic computer skills are considered an asset
- Must be fluent in English to ensure safe communication on job sites
