Brown’s is seeking a detail-orientated and organized Heavy Equipment Salesperson for our Lloydminster location. Under the direction of the Team Leader, this role involves selling heavy-duty machinery and equipment to clients in construction, agriculture, mining, and other industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
· Promote and sell heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders, and attachments.
· Respond to customer inquiries quickly and effectively using quotation systems and templates.
· Estimate and quote pricing, freight, credits, contract terms, warranties, and delivery timelines.
· Utilize the Bobcat portal for leasing, sales, and order management.
· Understand and explain technical specifications, features, and benefits of equipment to clients.
· Prepare and present detailed sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
· Demonstrate equipment functionality and usage to potential buyers.
· Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure post-sale satisfaction.
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
· Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Collaborate with service and support teams to ensure exceptional customer service and post-sale experience.
Role Requirements:
· 2-5 years of successful sales or rental experience in construction, equipment, or related industries.
· High school diploma required; post-secondary education in a related discipline will be an asset.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
· Knowledge of the sales process and proven decision-making and negotiation skills
· A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a high level of customer focus
· Excellent presentation and communications skills.
