Patronscan is a leading technology company focused on identity verification, access control, and public safety. Our platform helps businesses across nightlife, hospitality, retail, gaming, and more to reduce risk, stay compliant, and create safer environments. We're growing fast and we're looking for someone to super charge our Sales team and help fuel that growth.
The Opportunity:
This role is focused on one thing above all else: booking demo appointments for our Sales team.
Every day you'll be on the phones cold calling bars, nightclubs and other potential clients across North America, introducing them to Patronscan, and connecting them with our Sales team. No need to close sales; you're simply opening the door. Simple as that!
If you're outgoing, comfortable on the phone, and can shake off a "no" and dial the next number without missing a beat, you're exactly who we're looking for.
Who We're Looking For
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Great English communication skills and comfortable on the phone
- Self motivated and consistent, you don't need someone standing over your shoulder
- Organized and strong attention to detail
- Resilient; a no just means you're one call closer to a yes
- Previous cold calling or sales experience is a bonus but not required
- Bonus points if you've ever worked a door, served tables, or spent your weekends behind the bar - understanding the world our customers operate in (the late nights, the fast pace, the unique challenges of running a venue) means you can have real conversations instead of reading from a script.
The Details
This is a 3 month contract with possibility to extend based on performance.
Training Schedule: Monday to Friday 1:00PM - 5:00PM in our Calgary office
Regular Schedule: Variable hours based on lead availability with work from home options; the more you're crushing it, the more flexibility you have.
Why Join Patronscan?
Beyond the pay check and flexible hours (post-training), this is a real foot in the door with a fast-growing tech company. You'll be working closely with a fun, tight-knit team where you actually get to see how all the moving parts of a tech business work; sales, ops, product, all of it. It's the kind of experience that looks great on a resume and teaches you things you won't learn in a classroom.
