Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and dependable Metal Roofing Crews to do sub-contract work with our organization. This role involves installing metal roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidates will have experience with various metal roofing systems, have their own tools, ladders etc and ability to get to and from job sites. We cover Peterborough County, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Durham Regions.
The Ideal Crew will be able to:
- Install and replace metal roofing panels, corrugated steel or snap lock systems according to project specifications and blueprints
- Use hand tools such as drills, hammers, and snips to secure roofing materials
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and work ordersdrawings to ensure accurate installation
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and energy efficiency
- Conduct repairs or maintenance on existing roofs as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on-site
- All crew members must have valid working at heights certifications and wsib insurance.
Experience
- Prior roofing experience is a must.
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for construction tasks
- Experience with all trim work, brick and siding cuts.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and waterproofing methods.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to roofing projects is required
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, strong communication with Management and the ability to work effectively as a team and represent our company to the highest standards. We provide year round full time work projects. for A strong work ethic combined with technical skills will ensure success in this position.
Pay: $4,000.00-$30,000.00 per month
