Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention to lead our loss prevention initiatives and ensure the safety and security of our assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement and loss prevention strategies, with expertise in surveillance systems, including CCTV. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and implementing effective measures to mitigate losses.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive loss prevention strategies to safeguard company assets.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, to monitor activities within the organization.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, or other losses, collaborating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Train and supervise loss prevention staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Analyze data related to loss incidents to identify trends and develop actionable plans for improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
- Prepare detailed reports on loss prevention activities and present findings to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement or a related field, with a strong understanding of loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in surveillance technologies, particularly CCTV systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
