We are currently hiring Seasonal Security Guards for Access Control positions at Sherkston Shores for the upcoming season. This role is ideal for dependable, professional individuals who enjoy working with the public in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control entry/exit points
- Provide customer service and directions when needed
- Maintain a professional and visible presence
- Report incidents, concerns, or suspicious activity
- Follow site procedures and safety protocols
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Smart Serve is an asset
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to remain professional under pressure
Position Details
- Seasonal position lasting approximately 4 months
- Shifts are approximately 5 hours long, occasional option for 10
- Part-time and flexible scheduling may be available
- Opportunity to gain experience in event and resort-style security
Ideal Candidate
You are reliable, approachable, observant, and confident speaking with the public. Previous security or customer service experience is considered an asset, but not required.
