Position Summary:
We're looking for a strategic and collaborative Manager, Market Share Growth to help drive LifeLabs' growth across Ontario's government-funded healthcare sector. This hybrid role is based in Toronto and offers the opportunity to work closely with leaders across the organization to evaluate new business opportunities, support market expansion, and strengthen LifeLabs' position as a trusted healthcare partner.
In this role, you'll lead the review and assessment of new and existing business opportunities, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to support informed decision-making, successful client onboarding, and continuous improvement of business review processes. Working closely with Operations, Business Development, Contract Management, Finance, Real Estate, and other partners, you'll play a key role in balancing strategic growth with operational readiness while supporting LifeLabs' long-term business objectives.

What You’ll Do:
Market Growth Strategy & Business Evaluation
- Lead the review and assessment of new and existing business opportunities, renewals, and strategic growth initiatives across Ontario.
- Evaluate opportunities by conducting financial, operational, complexity, and risk assessments in partnership with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support the planning and execution of initiatives that protect and expand LifeLabs' market share while aligning with organizational priorities.
- Apply and continuously refine business evaluation frameworks, including complexity matrices, to support consistent and informed decision-making.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Business Implementation
- Partner with Operations, Business Development, Contract Management, Consumer Markets, Finance, Real Estate, and other internal teams to evaluate opportunities and ensure successful client onboarding.
- Coordinate stakeholders throughout the business review and approval process, ensuring timely decisions and effective communication across the organization.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on review requirements, business processes, and information needed to support new business opportunities.
Process Improvement & Performance Insights
- Manage the end-to-end business review and approval process, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, governance, and overall effectiveness.
- Analyze business performance, market trends, and operational data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and inform strategic recommendations.
- Monitor process integrity, proactively identify risks or issues, and escalate concerns as needed to support timely resolution.
Leadership Support & Strategic Communications
- Support the development and execution of short-, medium-, and long-term market share strategies.
- Prepare executive briefings, presentations, and leadership updates that communicate business opportunities, recommendations, and key decisions.
- Build strong relationships across the organization to foster collaboration, alignment, and successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare, the laboratory industry, or a related field, with experience supporting strategic business initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
- University degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience evaluating new business opportunities, market intelligence, and business case development.
- Strong understanding of Ontario's healthcare system, laboratory industry, and key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk, identify opportunities, and make sound recommendations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience preparing executive-level communications.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity while driving results through collaboration and sound judgment.
- Project management experience is considered an asset.

What We Offer:
Salary range: $81,431 - $103,825 CAD annually (commensurate with experience).
