Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team full-time in our North York office. This role plays a key part in Purchasing, order processing, Inventory managment, managing logistics workflows, optimizing shipping processes, and supporting supply chain reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement inventory control strategies to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Update inventory records to reflect stock movement and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Request and evaluate LTL (Less Than Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload) freight quotes.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare and submit export documents such as CUSMA certificates of origin, commercial invoices, and B13 forms.
- Set work priorities and delegate tasks to warehouse staff to ensure efficient shipment flow.
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and supply chain performance.
- Analyze operational data and conduct weekly reviews with the operations manager.
- Provide performance feedback to the warehouse team on order accuracy and processing times.
- Generate forecast reports for the purchasing team to anticipate future product and supply needs.
- Working knowledge of shipping workflows and customs documentation is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, X lookups, Coding, forecasting models).
- Comfortable working across teams (Purchasing, IT, Warehouse, etc.).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to improve processes.
- Comfortable with tools like Sage 300 (ERP), and Microsoft Excel (reporting, dashboards, forecasts)
