We’re looking for a Vancouver Island-based Pharmacist to take on a unique relief contract in the stunning Cowichan Valley region for two distinct blocks this summer and fall. This is a fantastic way to break out of the daily grind, explore one of BC’s most beautiful areas, and return home with a significantly padded bank account, across two separate, high-impact periods.
The Destination: The Cowichan Valley
Trade the city commute for a relaxed pace in the heart of Vancouver Island. When you’re not working, you’ll have access to incredible hiking, world-class wineries, and vibrant local markets. It’s a chance to live like a tourist while earning like a pro.
The Commitment:
- Block 1: July 12 – August 02, 2026
- Block 2: September 11 – October 30, 2026
(Two separate contracts)
The Pay: Up to $70 - $100/hour (Travel rate included for eligible candidates)
Want to maximize your time on this contract? You have the option to work extended hours, allowing you to bank even more in a short period. Whether you stick to the regular schedule or push for more, this contract puts you in a position to earn a significant sum. This isn’t just a paycheck; it’s a financial head start on the rest of your 2026 goals.

Forget understaffed, chaotic environments. This is a high-support, well-organized setting designed for pharmacists who actually want to enjoy their shift.
- Manageable Volume: 160–170 prescriptions daily (No Methadone, very few injections).
- Strong Support: You’ll work alongside 3–4 Assistants and benefit from overlapping pharmacist coverage for several hours each shift.
- Easy Tech: Fully paperless environment using Kroll, so you can hit the ground running.
The Schedule (Standard hours; overtime available to maximize your earnings):
- Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sundays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
It’s a focused schedule, but your days off are wide open for adventure. And with the ability to pick up extra hours, you decide exactly how big your payday will be.
