Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a professional demeanor. This role involves providing high-quality haircuts, color treatments, and styling services while ensuring a welcoming environment for clients. The Hair Stylist will also assist with retail sales and maintain salon sanitation standards to deliver an exceptional experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to clients’ needs and offering professional recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, and styling products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and answering client inquiries.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike.
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is preferred.

Pay: $15.00-$50.00 per hour
