We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our leadership team.
Position Summary
The Shift Supervisor plays a key role in the day-to-day success of the restaurant. This individual will lead by example, support team development, ensure operational excellence, and help create a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and outstanding guest service.
The ideal candidate is a natural leader who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of delivering a consistent guest experience while supporting and developing team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
- Deliver and promote extraordinary hospitality and exceptional guest experiences
- Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve high performance standards
- Ensure service, cleanliness, food safety, and operational standards are consistently maintained
- Address guest concerns professionally and effectively
- Assist with training and onboarding new team members
- Complete opening and closing procedures accurately
- Monitor labour productivity and assist with cost control initiatives
- Promote restaurant events, specials, and new menu features
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Serving and bartending experience is a strong asset
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
