Eat Sleep and Grow Inc. is a private pediatric practice offering direct and virtual Occupational Therapy services to children in the entire Northwest Region of Alberta and the Peace Region of British Columbia. We also offer virtual services to all of Canada, excluding Quebec. Role Description
Eat Sleep and Grow Inc. is currently seeking a contracting Occupational Therapist to provide therapy to children ages 2-18. We provide services at our clinic, the child's home, school and community and virtually. Wherever the best, most functional therapy to meet the complex needs of children, can happen. We work with a large population of neurodivergent children who have diagnosis such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, FASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and neurotypical children who are struggling with specific self-care tasks such as eating, toileting or sleep.
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation services to children. The therapist will work closely with families and caregivers to achieve therapy goals and collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive care. Our clinic is play based and we work as team to support the child and their family.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle - must be comfortable driving
- Experience working with children is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Comfort level in directing program aides/therapy assistants
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently

Pay: $50.00-$75.00 per hour
