Bilton Welding & Manufacturing Ltd. is looking for a Materials Administrator to join our Purchasing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in purchasing and supply chain.
You'll begin by learning our systems, supporting the Purchasing department through data entry, document management, purchase order administration, and inventory records. As your knowledge and experience grow, you'll have opportunities to develop into broader purchasing responsibilities.
No previous purchasing experience is required—we're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.

Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
What You'll Do
Working alongside our Buyers team, you will help ensure purchasing information is accurate, organized, and up to date.
Responsibilities include:

Enter purchasing and inventory information into our ERP system

Create and maintain purchase orders

Process receiving and purchasing documentation
-
Scan, organize, and maintain purchasing records
-
Update item information and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Verify documentation for completeness and accuracy
-
Assist with inventory record updates and cycle count entries
-
Communicate discrepancies to the Purchasing team
-
Support Buyers with administrative tasks and purchasing documentation
-
Learn purchasing processes while developing toward future Buyer responsibilities
We're seeking someone who enjoys administrative work, has strong computer skills, and wants to build a long-term career in purchasing.
Qualifications include:

Well organized and dependable

Comfortable learning new software and computer systems

Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Previous experience in administration, customer service, inventory, logistics, office support, or data entry is considered an asset, but not required.

Experience with ERP software is an asset, but training will be provided.
