Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent (Part-Time)

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent to join our team. This position combines front desk guest service, overnight auditing, and breakfast preparation responsibilities. It's ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while providing excellent hospitality.
Schedule
This is a part-time, set schedule consisting of:
- Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Audit & Breakfast)
- Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Audit & Breakfast)
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
- Process reservations and payments.
- Complete nightly audit procedures and balance daily transactions.
- Prepare daily reports and reconcile accounts.
- Set up and maintain the complimentary breakfast before the morning service.
- Ensure the breakfast area is clean, fully stocked, and presentable.
- Monitor and replenish breakfast items as needed before the end of the shift.
- Clean and sanitize the breakfast area, equipment, and serving stations according to hotel standards.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues when possible.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure front desk area.
- Follow hotel policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel management software.
- Comfortable working independently, especially during overnight shifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
