Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and energetic Dog Walker to join our pet care team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing dog walking services ensuring the safety, exercise, and well-being of the dogs. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, get exercise and spend time with dogs.
Responsibilities
- Take dogs on scheduled walks, ensuring they receive proper exercise and stimulation
- Monitor dogs during walks for safety and well-being, responding promptly to any issues
- Maintain a clean and safe environment during walks and at pick-up/drop-off locations
- Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets’ behavior, health, or special needs
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding walking routines or medication needs
- Assist with light pet care tasks as needed, such as feeding or administering medication (if trained)
- Uphold professionalism and provide excellent customer service to pet owners at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience with dogs or animals is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and walk for extended periods
- Responsible, punctual, and attentive to detail in caring for the needs of the dogs
- Excellent communication skills
Pay: $2,000.00-$6,000.00 per month
