Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Cafe/Play Attendant to join our team. This role involves engaging with children and guests in a lively, family-friendly environment, ensuring a safe, fun, and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with children. As a key team member, you will oversee play areas, assist with food and beverage service, and provide exceptional guest services to create memorable visits for families.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in play areas, ensuring safety and fun at all times
- Assist guests with food and beverage orders at the cafe counter
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the play zones and cafe area
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests
- Enforce safety rules and guidelines within the play environment
- Promote a positive atmosphere through friendly interaction and enthusiasm
- Support event setups or special activities as needed
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or entertainment setting is preferred
- Strong public speaking skills to communicate effectively with children and guests
- Proven customer service experience in hospitality or guest services roles
- Experience handling cash transactions and operating POS systems is a plus
- Background in food service or hospitality industry is advantageous
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with a positive attitude
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
