Handyman / Maintenance Associate – Boutique Luxury Hotel
We are looking for a reliable, self-sufficient, and easygoing Handyman / Maintenance Associate to join our team at a luxury boutique hotel featuring a lively bar, upscale amenities, and beautifully designed guest spaces.
This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing and personable, yet professional and discreet — someone comfortable working around guests, events, and social environments while remaining focused and behind the scenes when needed.
We’re seeking a true “can-do” individual who takes pride in seeing projects through from start to finish, works well independently, and can confidently take initiative without constant supervision.
Responsibilities Include:
- General maintenance and repairs
- Paint touch-ups and wall repairs
- Hanging artwork, mirrors, and fixtures
- Light carpentry work
- Trim and molding installation (preferred)
- Basic upkeep of hotel facilities and guest areas
- Assisting with small improvement projects
- Troubleshooting and handling tasks autonomously
- Supporting the overall appearance and functionality of the property
Ideal Candidate:
- Friendly, polite, and professional
- Self-reliant and highly dependable
- Detail-oriented with a good eye for presentation and finishing touches
- Comfortable working independently
- Tech-savvy and able to adapt to modern systems/tools
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Has a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- Experience in hospitality, maintenance, construction, or property upkeep is an asset
This is a hands-on role with a variety of tasks — nothing overly complicated, but we’re looking for someone resourceful, capable, and motivated who enjoys solving problems and keeping a beautiful property running smoothly.
