Renaissance Granite specializes in high-quality stone countertops and fireplace cladding, working with granite, quartz, porcelain, and natural stone. Precise templating is critical to successful fabrication and installation, and this role is a key link between the field and the shop.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Laser Template Technician to perform on-site laser measurements for stone fabrication. Previous experience in stone installation and/or fabrication is required to ensure accuracy, job-site awareness, and smooth production.
Responsibilities
- Perform laser templating at job sites for countertops and fireplace cladding
- Accurately measure cabinets, walls, appliances, and site conditions
- Capture and document all cutouts, seams, edge details, and overhangs
- Identify and report potential installation or fabrication concerns before production
- Upload, organize, and communicate digital template files to the fabrication team
- Review job details and verify readiness for fabrication
- Communicate clearly with shop and installation crews
- Maintain templating equipment and tools
- Represent Renaissance Granite professionally on job sites
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in stone installation and/or fabrication is required
- Experience with laser templating systems (FlexiJet,LT, Proliner, or similar) preferred
- Strong understanding of stone fabrication and installation processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read plans, drawings, and job specifications
- Comfortable working independently at job sites
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday, day shift
- Some overtime may be required
- Pay based on experience, with opportunity for advancement
