Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education,
- In Good Standing with the college of ECE's
- Standard First aid/CPR level C certification
- Vulnerable sector check and police check (done in the last 6 months)
- Record of up to date Immunization (TB Test, Tetanus, Polio, MMR)
- Experience working with children from 18 months-12 years of age in a child care setting
- Valid Drivers Licencse and Access to a personal vehicle daily
Role of Committed Supply
- Cover Vacations, sick time, programming at our St. Thomas the Apostle and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Locations
- Create warm, welcoming environments for the children
- Engage in rich learning experiences and co-learning with children
- Engage in outdoor activities to help children explore the natural world
- Help children to navigate their world through play and plan experiences based on their interests
- Build professional relationships with children, families and other educators
- Document the children’s learning
