The Automotive Technician will utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to perform tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities Tasks
- Diagnose vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment
- Repair and assemble vehicle components following dealership standards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire swaps & rotations
- Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to handle vehicle parts
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs to clients
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
- Discuss work with supervisor
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Inspect motor in operation
- Review work orders
- Road test motor vehicles
- Test automotive systems and components
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
