The Opportunity:
We’re hiring experienced GPS Grader Operators to join our team. If you're safety-focused, work well in a team, and have experience moving earth with precision, we’d like to hear from you.
Requirements For This Position Are:
- Complete knowledge of road building from sub to finish grade.
- Able to build and maintain haul roads.
- Able to operate M or H models
- Must have experience with GPS programs
- Able to safely work in a congested work site with many other pieces of equipment including Scrapers, Excavators, Rock Trucks, Packers, etc.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with ground crew, supervisors, and fellow operators
- Monitor job site and equipment conditions, reporting any safety concerns or mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., OHS)
Qualifications: Skills, Education, and Experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are important.
- Ability to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate with supervisor and other operators on the 2-way radio, and complete all required paperwork.
- Minimum 3 Years Experience as a Grader Operator
- Must have reliable transportation
Willingness to work 10-12 hour shifts, including weekends, as required (weather permitting).
Special Demands:
- Operators will be exposed to constant vibrations and rough terrain, resulting in frequent jostling and body movements.
- Must be able to climb in and out of equipment multiple times per shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
