Heartbeat Transport requires a Class 1 Driver with walking floor experience to fill 2 full-time positions for daily and long hauls with weekends off.
Heartbeat Transport Ltd. offers consistent, full-time, year-round employment with regular time-off every weekend. Salary averages approximately $80,000 plus with benefits after 3 months, positive work environment, and clean/newer equipment to operate. Shop with 4-bay mechanic shop and driver amenities. Assigned truck with no slip seating.
Driver responsibilities include the following:
· Maintain accurate log book records and adhere to Hours-of-Service regulations
· Must perform pre-trip & post-trip truck/trailer inspections
· Follow company safety program expectations, and PPE requirements
· Positive attitude toward safety values
· Respect company equipment and maintain cleanliness
Qualifications include:
· Class 1 with current abstract
· 2 years of commercial highway truck
WHMIS, TDG, First Aid, H2S Alive certs are an asset.
Start date of employment: Upon completion of in-house training
