Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician/ Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. You should be knowledgeable in automotive systems and committed to delivering safe, efficient, and timely service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and engine diagnostics.
- Inspect and test vehicles for mechanical issues using computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Identify problems with vehicles and determine appropriate repairs.
- Replace or repair faulty parts, such as brakes, steering mechanisms, and engines.
- Perform wheel alignments, tune-ups, and tire rotations.
- Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs completed.
- Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair timelines.
- Ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
