Physical Demands include lifting, carrying, pulling/pushing, and climbing stairs

The majority of work is conducted in a Shop Environment with some light administration work occasionally required
Responsibilities:
- Under the general direction of the Shop Manager, this incumbent will utilize journeyman-level technical knowledge and expertise to perform complex mechanical tasks in the repair, maintenance, inspection, and certification of Trimac Energy Services' tanker trailer fleet with minimal supervision

Preventative maintenance on the truck, but must be open to work on trailers as well.

Preventative maintenance on checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, clutch/linkage, starting system, electrical system, PM's, electrical work, brakes, suspension and product pump rebuilds.

Follow safety and use of proper PPE.

Follow procedures.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman certification
-
Red Seal is an asset.
-
CVIP Certification is an asset.
-
Two years verifiable mechanic experience.

Grade 12 graduate.

Full understanding of all relevant safety and compliance regulations, policies, and generally accepted work practices relating to tanker trailer shop operations

Full understanding of all elements of the job (i.e.: shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, use of all hand and power)

Computer keyboarding skills and a basic understanding of computer business systems is desirable.

Operation of hand and air tools.

Pay Range: Starting from CAD $48.00/Hr. Market: Edmonton, AB
