Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Freight Forwarder Export to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the export of goods across international borders, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and managing the end-to-end freight forwarding process. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help facilitate seamless supply chain operations, strengthen customer relationships, and optimize freight solutions for our clients. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute export shipments by liaising with carriers, customs authorities, and clients to ensure timely delivery.
- Negotiate rates and service terms with freight carriers, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers, and other partners to secure optimal transportation solutions.
- Manage customer relationships by providing expert guidance on export procedures, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that arise during transit.
- Prepare and verify all necessary documentation for exports, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, customs declarations, and other regulatory paperwork.
- Utilize data entry systems such as AS400 to record shipment details accurately and maintain comprehensive records for compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with sales management and account teams to develop tailored freight solutions that meet client needs while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Monitor supply chain activities related to export freight, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.

Requirements
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, export logistics, or supply chain management with a focus on international shipments.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable rates and service agreements with carriers and 3PL providers.
- Excellent customer relationship management abilities to foster trust and ensure client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with freight processes, customs procedures, B2B (business-to-business) sales, and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in data entry systems such as AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Knowledge of sales management principles and inside sales techniques to support client engagement strategies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
