Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple teams and tasks efficiently. This role involves ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project timelines and budgets while maintaining excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members. The Construction Supervisor will play a critical role in delivering successful projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to verify project requirements and specifications
- Monitor quality control standards throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions as needed
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to NBOHS regulations and company safety policies
Skills
- Supervisory experience in the construction industry
- Extensive construction experience with a solid understanding of building processes, quality control, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of budgeting principles related to construction projects
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and cost control measures
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members
- Ability to supervise site operations while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
Pay: $30.00-$54.59 per hour
