Role Summary:
Vipond inc. is a growing, full-service fire protection company serving South Ontario for over 80 years. The Hamilton branch operates from Burlington to Niagara Falls and from Hamilton to Kitchener, we provide complete fire protection solutions including installation, inspection, maintenance, and service.
Our Stoney Creek branch is looking for a CFAA-registered Fire Alarm Technician with minimum 5 years’ experience to perform large inspections, verifications, troubleshooting, and service work across a variety of fire protection systems. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Perform large inspections
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fire protection equipment
- Maintain compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Provide professional service to clients across Southwestern Ontario
Requirements:
- Valid CFAA Fire Alarm Technician registration (required)
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license (required)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Minimum of 5 years of service and inspection experiences
- Experience with fire alarm systems and related equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
