Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Banquet Server to join our hospitality team here at Chateau Le Parc . In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service during events and banquets, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and experience in food service environments.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner during banquets and events
- Set up banquet tables, arrange table settings, and ensure the cleanliness of service areas before and after events
- Assist with food presentation, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs throughout the event
- Follow food safety protocols and handle food items responsibly to ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth operation of events
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while providing exceptional customer service
- Clear tables promptly after events conclude and assist with cleanup procedures
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in banquet or hospitality settings
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper serving techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality experience, including hotel or event service background, is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as needed
