Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility team . In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems in an automotive manufacturing environment. This role ensures machinery operates efficiently with minimal downtime while maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, tooling, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and repair automated production equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and control systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and facility equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve equipment issues quickly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Millwright, Electromechanical Technician, or related trade.
- Minimum 2–5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
- Operate forklift / sky jack
- Welding
- Have own tools
- Able to work independently
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment is an asset.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces when required.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment.
- May require overtime, and on-call maintenance support.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
