About Plexcon Construction Inc.
Plexcon Construction Inc. specializes in multiplex residential developments, additions, top-ups, and structural framing projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
We are currently hiring experienced carpenters and framing crew members for ongoing and upcoming projects across the GTA.
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 3 years of framing experience
- Proven experience with:
- Wood framing
- Light gauge steel stud framing / metal framing
- Ability to read construction drawings and framing layouts
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle for travel to various GTA job sites
- Basic hand tools and PPE
Experience with metal stud framing is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform wood framing and light gauge steel stud framing
- Complete wall, floor, roof, and structural framing systems
- Perform framing work for:
- Multiplex projects
- Residential additions
- Top-up projects
- New residential construction
- Read and interpret blueprints and framing layouts
- Measure, cut, and install framing materials accurately
- Install steel stud wall systems and related framing components
- Maintain safe and organized work areas
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades
- Follow Ontario Building Code and all site safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Working at Heights certification
- WHMIS certification
- Fall protection training
- Experience with multiplex and top-up projects
- Experience working within framing crews
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights and on active construction sites

- Monday to Friday
